Public Official Not Focusing On Board Duties

by Gary Snyder

With a board including members of the Larimer County District Attorney’s Office and police officers from Fort Collins and Loveland (CO), it paid little or no attention to its responsibilities.

As such, this case is being prosecuted by an outsider...the Weld County District Attorney’s Office.

A jury is currently deliberating in the trial of a former nonprofit director accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the Larimer County Child Advocacy CenterProsecutors say she stole nearly $17,000 from the nonprofit to improperly cover trip reimbursements, cell phone lines, insurance premiums and charges to the nonprofit’s credit card.
